ASIAED assists in supporting the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, and in particular UNESCOs Community Learning Centres (CLC), and Asia and Pacific Programme of Education for All (APPEAL), which is a regional co-operative programme designed to promote literacy.

In further facilitating the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDSGs) ASIAED develops a series of program themes complying with the MDGs including the EFA Global Action Plan which is a comprehensive strategy developed to improve international and country-level coordination for Education for All.
