Asia Education Project (ASIAED)

Assists in supporting the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, and in particular UNESCOs Community Learning Centres (CLC), and Asia and Pacific Programme of Education for All (APPEAL),
which is a regional co-operative programme designed to promote literacy.

Clean transportation ASIAED Project Asia Education: The NGO, non-profit ASIAED assists in supporting the UN Millennium Development Goals.
Aim 2: Addressing key global challenges

Identify common criteria for setting priorities. The four criteria proposed:

UNESCO leads the global Education for All (EFA) movement, aiming to meet the learning needs of all children, youth and adults by 2015.
1. Priorities must address critical and crosscutting areas and domains, with the objective to improve social progress; 2. Priorities must trigger multidisciplinary cooperation and cross-fertilisation at all levels; 3. Priorities need to be coherent with the overarching goals of regional policies; 4. Priorities should focus on services of universal value.

To promote the development of a new discipline aiming at designing more effective and efficient international cooperation policies, instruments and institutions. The formulation of these building blocks could be done by creating and drawing on a network of scholars and policymakers so as to lay the ground for future policy ownership, to foster a multidisciplinary approach that cuts across various global issue-areas, to reach out to existing international economics networks.
