which is a regional co-operative programme designed to promote literacy.

Building Capacities for Sustainability in Mother Tongue-based Multilingual Education (MLE)

Advocacy Kit for Promoting Multilingual Education diversity makes educating children from different backgrounds a major challenge, This kit is designed to raise awareness on the importance of mother tongue-based multilingual education (MLE).

UNESCO leads the global Education for All (EFA) movement, aiming to meet the learning needs of all children, youth and adults by 2015.
At the World Education Forum in Dakar in 2000, one of the main agreed goals was "to ensure that by 2015 all children, particularly girls and children from ethnic minorities, have access to complete free and compulsory primary education of good quality".
