EMonument works in accordance with the UN ICT guidelines in establishing projects, which include integrating sustainable development into community cooperation policy aimed at implementing proper infrastructure development schemes. The Task Force provides a
global forum on integrating information and communication technologies (ICT) into
development programmes and a platform for promoting partnerships of public,
private, non-profit, civil society and multilateral stakeholders by helping develop
new models of leadership and collaboration to advance significantly the global effort
to bridge the digital divide and foster digital opportunity.

Introduction:
Institute of Water Problems and Hydropower has been founded in 1992 as a scientific research institute under the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Institute’s activity is generally aimed at carrying out fundamental scientific research and applied studies that are very important for economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic as well as for economies of other Central Asian countries.
More than 60 employees work at the Institute. 26 of them are research workers, 1 is an academician of the National Academy, 4 have the degree of doctors of sciences, 9 are candidates of sciences, and there is one MA degree holder.
Being the leading national research center, the Institute of Water Problems and Hydropower occupies a strong place in scientific studies of the water-related problems of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main aspects of our activity are:

The objectives of the National University of Uzbekistan and the EMonument Open Society ICT Task Force 'Europe and Central Asia' Regional Networks development scheme, is to assist in providing overall leadership to the United Nations role in helping to formulate strategies for the development of information and communication technologies and putting those technologies at the service of development and, on the basis of consultations with all stakeholders and Member States, forging a strategic partnership between the United Nations system, private industry and financing trusts and foundations, donors, programme countries and other relevant stakeholders in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.
