The implementation of organisational or programmatic network management systems pertaining to heritage sites is one of high priority which centres around key actions including sustainable management and quality of the environment, climatic and biodiversity impacts on cultural heritage sites, renewable cleaner energy systems, and efficient mandates for economic growth.
The aim of EMVI is to assimilate under one framework coherent and relative data regarding the correct methodology of Cultural Heritage management. By offering a transparent and knowledge based format EMonument recommends administrative and legislative improvements for protecting European's heritage with due recognition of other national needs and priorities including;
- Review international programs and policies to promote effectiveness, co-ordination, and consistency with European-wide preservation policies.
- Encourage and provide training in historic preservation, focusing on the EU's authorised activities and related authorities.
- Offer assistance in the reviewing process and mediates concerning controversial cases, including situations where conflicts arise between planned European activities and local historic preservation goals, providing an indispensable service to State, ethnic, and local governments as well as property owners, businesses, and concerned citizens;
- Work with European agencies on programmatic solutions for integrating their missions and historic preservation needs; and
- Provide essential training, guidance, and public information aimed at assisting the review process, enabling it to operate efficiently and with full opportunity for citizen involvement.
